We're Refreshing The Menufy Brand
We’re thrilled to unveil our refreshed brand identity. This update shows the evolution of our company since its founding in 2009.
While our look is changing, our commitment to supporting restaurant operators and their online ordering customers remains steadfast.
Menufy's senior graphic designer, Erin Trampel, led the branding refresh project. She has worked in graphic design for more than ten years and shared what changed.
What is branding, anyway?
"Branding is the face of a company," Trampel explained. "It sets the tone for a company and encompasses more than just the design of the logo or other marketing materials. The 'brand' also includes how a company writes and uses social media. Maintaining that consistency keeps the 'voice' of a company recognizable."
Why is Menufy rebranding?
In October 2021, Menufy was acquired by HungerRush, a leading cloud software provider for the restaurant industry.
"We are refreshing our branding with a new logo and color scheme as part of the ongoing integration into our parent company's cloud-based restaurant management system," said Jeremy Kuo, director of marketing and co-founder of Menufy. He added that "together, HungerRush and Menufy will bring restaurateurs seamless digital ordering capabilities, with the goal of empowering them to grow their off-premises business."
What is changing?
Menufy will now be operating as Menufy by HungerRush.
"We have made the logo font heavier and changed the colors to match the HungerRush palette. The new branding will be much lighter. Before, we used a lot of dark grays. HungerRush focuses more on a light and bright color scheme, so we want to reflect that as well," explained Trampel.
You'll see logo and color updates to our website, social media profiles, and print materials.
"The Menufy M icon remains shaped like a restaurant menu to echo our origin as an online food ordering solution. As for the cloud wraparound, it represents a unified software-as-a-service that's part of HungerRush's vision for a connected restaurant experience," said Kuo.
Will this affect Menufy client restaurants?
This branding refresh is a step towards exciting new product development and integrations, with the aim of maximizing restaurant guest experiences and business outcomes. Stay tuned for announcements!
Final thoughts
Menufy launched an updated look but will maintain its restaurant-first approach.
We will build on the success of HungerRush's 360 cloud system and continue enhancing our suite of online food ordering functionalities for restaurant operators.
