I've spent close to nine years immersed in all aspects of restaurant life, from serving customers to helping in the kitchen. It was a whirlwind of challenges and growth; I wouldn't trade it for anything.
How do your past experiences help you in your current role at Menufy by HungerRush?
Oh, they're invaluable! My time in restaurants taught me the ropes – how to streamline operations, boost profits, and keep customers happy. Now, as a Senior Inside Sales Representative, that knowledge helps me tailor solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
What is your favorite part of your role at our Menufy by HungerRush organization?
It has to be the excitement of each day. No two days are alike, and that keeps things interesting! Plus, being part of a supportive team that encourages creativity and growth is a huge bonus!
If you could switch departments/roles for a day, which would you choose?
If I could switch roles for a day, I'd choose to work in the channel department. Meeting clients in person and getting to know their businesses sounds exciting. I also would love to hit the road and travel to different cities.
Which city do you call home, and what is the restaurant scene like there?
I'm from Kansas City, and our restaurant scene is awesome! We've got a bit of everything, from Middle Eastern to Mexican food. There are cozy family Italian places and cool spots serving fancy ice cream and small plates. You name it, we've got it!
What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Mediterranean Grill, and I love their lamb mandi dish. It's just so delicious!
After you clock out, how do you spend your free time?
I like to keep things balanced. Whether it's hitting the gym, diving into a good book, or just taking a leisurely stroll, it's all about finding that sweet spot between relaxation and rejuvenation.
Share one of your secret skills/talents!
One of my secret talents is that I love doing tasks that require a lot of focus. I'm also pretty good at cooking, and sometimes I'll spend the whole day preparing dinner for my friends.
If you could only eat one food/dish for a whole year, what would it be?
If I had to pick just one food to eat for a whole year, it would be chicken salad- hands down. I love it because it always leaves me feeling satisfied and guilt-free, no matter what time of day I eat it.
