Effective April 30th, 2018, Coinbase will sunset its merchant tools. As a result, we have switched to BitPay to continue bringing you the benefits of cryptocurrencies!
A few important changes will affect the way you pay restaurants.
What changed?
1. New Payment Option: Bitcoin Cash
You can now use Bitcoin Cash in addition to Bitcoin to pay for food at Menufy partner restaurants.
2. Payment Protocol
At the end of the checkout, you will see a BitPay invoice. It does not show a bitcoin address and it can only be paid using wallets that support the Payment Protocol. This protocol helps to eliminate human error in crypto payments. Coinbase does not support it at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Find out more about supported wallets.
3. How to Pay
If you do not use any of the wallets from the above link, please install one. Then, transfer funds to the new wallet that you plan to use at your favorite Menufy restaurants. After that, online food ordering payments will be simple. The cheapest and fastest way is to use Bitcoin Cash.
