Associates at Menufy by HungerRush work with restaurants to increase their online presence and generate more orders from their ovens. It takes a team of talented people to make that happen, one of whom is Courtney Jones!
Courtney joined Kansas City's support team in the fall of 2016. Her passion for helping people enabled her to hit the ground running when it came to assisting restaurant owners.
One of Courtney's defining characteristics is her willingness to find solutions for clients and coworkers. So, after years on the support team, Courtney transitioned to the Performance department, where she could use her talent and product knowledge in a new way as a client success specialist.
Courtney's inspiring leadership and genuine personality are some of the many reasons she was nominated for this month's associate spotlight!
We chatted with Courtney to find out what she loves about her job and her life off the clock.
Meet Courtney!
Where did you grow your knowledge of the restaurant industry?
I only had a little restaurant experience when I first started at Menufy back in 2016. I have learned a lot from working here and from speaking with restaurant owners, customers, etc.
How do your previous professional experiences help you serve your current clients?
Since I have been here so long, I am able to reassure clients that we are continuously growing and always trying to be better and find new ways to help them. I am able to let them know that when I first started, there were certain capabilities we did not have that we have now implemented for a better experience.
What is your favorite part of your current role at Menufy?
My favorite part is finding ways to help our clients be successful and learning the best way to increase their online presence. I like when I make a plan for a client or give them suggestions, and they actually start to see the positive impact on their business.
If you could switch departments for a day, which would you choose?
Sales because I want to see what it takes to make a sale and how they do it!
What is your favorite restaurant and dish?
Taqueria La Nueva! The quesabirra tacos are AMAZING and so are their salsas!
How do you spend your free time?
I like watching basketball and football. I like playing fantasy football. I also like going out for drinks and apps with friends.
Tell us about the people you consider family.
My parents have been married for 31 years and have been together since high school. My cousin is Maurice Greene, the former track and field world record holder in the 100 meter. He won four Olympic medals and was a five-time world champion!
Do you have a secret skill or talent?
I can ice skate! The holiday ice rink in downtown Kansas City is one of my favorite places to skate—it's a vibe!
What do you love most about your hometown of Kansas City?
I love the BBQ!!!
