Meet Monica
Monica Goodman began her Menufy career in November of 2017 as a multi-lingual member of our Client Services team. She works with restaurant operators to optimize their success with our online ordering services.
She builds long-term relationships with our clients and ensures every customer is satisfied with their experience.
Supporting our partner restaurants and her coworkers is Monica's number one priority.
This week, we learned what Monica enjoys most about her profession and Kansas City!
Where did your professional journey begin?
I worked in customer service in a really small and quiet place east of LA before joining Menufy.
What do you enjoy about Menufy's Client Sevices team?
I love talking to my clients to see what I can do to help their restaurant business, especially during this challenging time.
Our team loves helping people and loves food. We are a multi-language team, and we have lots of restaurant experience, so we care about helping our restaurant partners. We also keep things easy. We have sales, support, menu, design, IT, performance, marketing, and project coordinator working together to ensure our clients’ digital ordering starts running within days!
If you could switch Menufy departments for a day, which would you choose?
I love what I do, but I would try the Design team for a day. I have always been curious how they made the magic happen and want to see if I have any talents in that regard.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Sichuan Dynasty in Overland Park, Kansas.
Do you have a secret talent?
My secret talent is cooking. I hosted a Lunar New Year party at my house with 12 Asian dishes served to 20-plus people all by myself. My husband knows nothing about cooking, haha.
What do you love about Kansas City?
Midwestern hospitality is just such a change from where I came from, Southern California. I have made so many friends and love all the company gatherings, neighborhood grill-outs, holiday parties; it is just so friendly everywhere. Also, Kansas city has beautiful sunsets! I may have over 30 photos of the sunset in my phone right now.
What do Monica's colleagues think about her?
"Monica is an essential member of client services and has been for almost five years. The entire team values Monica's support and even refers to her as the team "mom." Whenever our team gathers for potluck events, we can always count on Monica to cook an amazing feast.
