Food Truck Operators: Menufy Online Ordering is Now Available

Menufy expands online ordering to include food trucks, adding a revenue avenue for mobile restaurateurs and more options for diners

We're excited to announce that stationary and mobile food truck providers now have a dedicated dashboard to configure online ordering and location scheduling!

Your online ordering customers can pick up orders on-site or request food delivery. Diners will also be able to take advantage of features such as group ordering and advanced order placement. For existing customers, the experience will look and feel the same as ordering through any other restaurant. The platform, which is integrated into POS (point-of-sale) systems, is user-friendly and customizable. It streamlines food truckers' workflows from order placement to fulfillment.

How it Works

Address Management

Using the Manager account, operators can save multiple locations to the dashboard and specify the tax rate. A precise location can also be set, allowing diners to find their favorite food trucks quickly.

Add & edit addresses and set percise locations using your manager account.

SCHEDULE EVENTS

Mobile food trucks planning to return to the same location on multiple days can utilize the Event Scheduling feature. The event’s date range and location can be set from saved addresses. After submission, details will appear in the Active Schedule alongside other active events.

Add current & future events to your Active Schedule.

CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS

Food truckers are equipped with options to set order-time parameters and choose whether to accept advanced orders, available up to six days ahead of pick-up. These customizable settings allow users to control the flow of orders throughout the service window.

ORDERING MADE EASY

Diners using the Menufy.com restaurant directory or the iOS and Android mobile apps will experience a simplified checkout process through social logins or logging in as a guest. After submission, a confirmation email will be sent to diners, utilizing each business’s unique branding.

ANOTHER WAY TO DINE

According to the US Census Bureau, the food truck business is booming. From 2013 to 2018, the number of food trucks has nearly doubled. And with hungry customers looking for alternative ways to dine in the post-COVID-19 world, mobile food trucks are here to stay. Menufy, a commission-free, online ordering system for independently owned restaurants and small chains in the US, is dedicated to providing an easy-to-use online ordering platform for restaurants—and now for mobile and stationary food trucks.
