The Menufy Online Ordering Convenience Fee is Increasing on December 1, 2023
To best support our restaurant partners in the current economic environment and to accelerate our pace of innovation, we've made the careful decision to slightly raise the Menufy convenience fee. The online ordering fee will increase from $1.50 to $1.75 effective December 1, 2023. This is only the second commission adjustment in the 14 years of Menufy's history.
With this increase, Menufy will continue
Strengthening its digital capabilities for restaurants to grow both new and repeat off-premise business.
Simplifying front-of-house and back-of-house workflows to maximize efficiencies for staff and guests.
Improving the digital ordering experience for online guests.
When did Menufy last change this fee?
Menufy has only increased this fee one other time, in 2018. Since then, we've added a sizable list of features to our offerings, such as:
Free email marketing and premium graphical email and mobile marketing, and survey automations to enable restaurants to stay in touch with their online customers and offer more opportunities for re-ordering.
Order with Google integration (formerly Google Food Ordering) to increase restaurant visibility on the search engine's local search results and to enable online ordering and payment directly through Google.
A redesigned full restaurant website that can serve as the restaurant's primary website, including all the vital pages a restaurant needs to showcase its dishes and share its story.
58 new POS integrations to unify and simplify online order management.
Enhanced fraud detection and full chargeback protection for peace of mind against scams that target restaurants.
16 additional cryptocurrency payment options. Online ordering guests can now pay with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB), Litecoin (LTC), Polygon (MATIC), XRP (XRP), ApeCoin (APE), Tether (USDT), Dai (DAI), Binance USD (BUSD), USD Coin (USDC), PayPal USD (PYUSD), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Pax Dollar (USDP), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), and Euro Coin (EUROC).
COVID-19 features to address a shift in consumption behavior, such as restaurant curbside pickup and contactless delivery to respect social distancing.
Countless enhancements thanks to user feedback on our built-in loyalty program, coupons, menu management, and more!
What is Menufy working on?
Our product development roadmap includes
Integrating into the award-winning HungerRush 360 POS for independently-owned restaurants and multi-unit brands. The platform comes with everything restaurant operators need to manage a restaurant through cloud-based tools.
Fully redesigning the Menufy iOS and Android marketplace apps with an upgraded experience for first-time and repeat customers.
Implementing new AI technologies to alleviate labor shortages, increase efficiencies, and offer more customer conveniences.
Menufy will also
Soon announce a partnership with a network of food distributors to help reduce restaurant procurement costs and increase profitability through better pricing and rebates.
Continue protecting restaurants against fraud, which has increased in recent years.
Attract and retain top talent to best serve restaurants and their online guests with 24/7 coverage and in more languages. We're proud that more than 80% of our employees have hospitality experience and that our office is natively fluent in more than 20 languages.
